The Swedish fashion industry's total turnover in 2013 amounted to 2370 billion Swedish kronor, of which exports accounted for 62%, about 147 billion kronor.

Compared with the previous year (2012), the export volume of the fashion industry increased by 6.8%.

Linnea Ax, the project manager of the development industry's fashion industry, has not seen any signs of stagnation in the export volume of the fashion industry at this stage.

The report was made by the Swedish Development Council and 11 organizations in the fashion industry. About 71% of respondents believed that the choice of export market is still the most important link.

In addition, the Swedish brand still has to have a certain reputation in Sweden, so as to successfully occupy the foreign market.

Despite the upward trend of the fashion industry, it is still hard to predict the number of exports in 2014. If the percentage of two digit exports increases, the whole industry will be uplifting.

In recent years, the leather industry in the Middle East has developed rapidly. Among them, the leather trade of the United Arab Emirates in the Gulf area is relatively large, about 2 billion US dollars a year, and the total import and export trade of leather goods in Saudi Arabia in 2013 is US $1 billion 100 million.

In the United Arab Emirates, a tannery has 10 years of history, is one of the world's most advanced tanning equipment manufacturers.

But the leather made by the tannery has nothing to do with cattle, mainly to produce high-quality camel skins.

It is reported that camel skin is much more thick and wearable than buffalo skin, and has a wide range of uses.

Camel skin is more expensive, but it provides another kind of business outlet for local camel farms.

Leather is the most widely traded product in the world.

The total value of leather and leather goods trade is more than US $60 billion every year.

In the United Arab Emirates, Dubai has gradually become the main pit center for Sultan, Kenya and Ethiopia.

Among them, the number of cattle in Sultan is only second lower than that in the United States, ranking the world's largest.

Egypt is also a very important leather manufacturer in the region with more than 200 tanneries.

However, the history of leather making in Egypt has existed for a century, and domestic consumption is healthy.

African countries account for 15% of the world's cattle, 25% of sheep and goats, but only 15% of the world's total skin.

Industry experts say that most of the leather produced in Africa flows to the Asian market or flows directly to China. The UAE's demand for raw leather mainly comes from Europe, Germany or Italy.
